HELP!!! transfer box vibrating on p38

hi my tranfer box on my 2.5dse p38 seems to be vibrating quite badly im sure its this as if you put pressure on it pulling down it stops could this be a bearing inside on the main drive from the gearbox??
has anyone else had this problem??
anyideas what else it could be?

Could be a bearing gone. Cheap fix in reality-if you fancy removing the box and stripping it down. Alternative is to get a rebuilt box from the likes of Ashcroft Transmissions in the Luton area. You could take a trip over there and they will give you the lowdown and supply you with parts if you want to go down that route. Ask for Ian Ashcroft.

could be that some of the TB mounting bolts have worked loose, and the action of pulling it down is simply getting things lined up correctly
