    Hi all,

Firstly, hope it is OK to put this here rather than in the Range Rover section but given my car may have been cut up and altered I thought I might post here in the hope of getting a wider audience than just the Range Rover side of things.

I am hoping to track down or at least find out what happened to my old classic Range Rover. Specifically asking if any of you guys had ever seen it laid up somewhere or know where it went or what happened to it. Any info would be really gratefully received.

It originally belonged to my Grandfather who has not long passed so would love to try and buy back what is left of it as a restoration project.

It is currently listed as SORN. It had front end accident damage but nothing substantial. Needed a new wing , bonnet and windscreen. It is / was a 1990 Range Rover Vogue SE in Ardennes green with beige leather and an uncommon feature of a black vinyl roof. The reg was G760KPW. Last three digits of the VIN are 380 and last three digits of the engine number are 77A

Since starting my search I have been told it was not scrapped and was sold by the salvage people whole.

Any help greatly appreciated. Many thanks everyone!. rr1.jpg

Its been off the road long enough to not register on the DVLA MOT database so pre-2005..

I doubt it belonged to anyone on here..

Fair dos. Long shot I know but perhaps even if no one here bought it as a project, they might know who has it lying up somewhere if it still is. Noted though, thanks.

wow, yeah that looks mint! I should never have sold mine, v stoopid move on my part. If I do find it, I am not sure I am going to like what might have happened to it, but that is on me for selling it.

Yes i noticed that recently. It was getting a bit ripe on the sills, footwells and rear cross member when i sold it. It amazes me to think back that it drove much nicer than my auto td5 and there was 10 yrs between them. I dont know if it was that BW transfer case with the chain drive, but more likely the torque converter wasnt the size of a hockey puck like in my td5 disco :)
