Help TD4 fuel union snapped huge bill!!!!

Hi wonder if anybody can help fitting new fuel pump on engine
bay inner wing....fuel lines join together with a little feeble plastic
manifold....(like a 5 way manifold) ..... when removing the Fuel pump
pipe - spigot to manifold snapped.

Landrover dont sell the manifold oh no which would cost about 5p.... they want to sell the whole fuel line harness at £380!!!!!! outrageous

Can anybody help ...... is there a pattern part or BMW part i can use as an alternative....I feel like soldering up some copper pipe!!!!:doh:

Yes it's been covered on here before, there is a BMW part that is similar but requires a bit of fiddling around with pipe diameters IIRC

You cant make up with copper as there is a jet or valve in one of the branches.....

if they're that price, id definately be looking for a breakers one somewhere

try this part no. from a BMW dealer,

16 12 1 184 632 distribution piece.

You will have to cut the pipes back and join up with fuel hose from halfrauds or somewhere.

or go to a fuel injection specialist for parts.

I've just managed to snap the same fuel line fitting as described above.

Apologies for dragging up an old thread but I would very much appreciate any new advice that can be offered regarding getting a replacement or any advice on how to remedy the problem.

worth checking out rover 75 diesels it has the same m47/td4 engine
