Sorry about short texting ... I am from Swinton Mexborough area I am hopping to get it on computer tomorrow night... do you know how to bench test pump

PM sierrafery, he's very good on electrics! he can tell you how to change certain relays etc to check it,

a Hawkeye can test the air sus, that's reason i have one to do tests etc

If it was me . Would disconnect batt , then pop cover off compressor unplug the power plug and using a meter check compressor , or if ya got a spare batt I would make up a fusible lead and hot wire the compressor and see it powers up but only for a sec or two. This is what I would try but am not saying you should . Just remember any work done on the SLS should always be done with batt off ! Or you might have to go through re calibration once it's working again

His bench test easy to do .... if they any other way off putting sum air in bags so I xan still use the car thanks

i can't really understand what's going on cos your posts are short and vague... as you say here

Yeah got power to pump which fuse and relay I have checked the 1 in engine compartment where is the slab cos I looked at bk off glove box and can only see a ecu for something else cos the one on ebay look different
my understanding is that you have power at the compressor plug so the management is working but the compressor is dead... buy these http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Air-Suspension-emergency-Air-Valves-4mm-OD-Discovery-2-/231094812296 inflate the bags cos if there's no leak the car will stay on level for many days ... ride it so untill you get to a tester

or if i misunderstood describe clearely and with lot of details what's going on and i'll tell you more

get hold of some 4mm pneumatic pipe, insert a 5" piece of pipe in each valve in the push fit side, the other side of pipe directly in the bag's push fit connector after you pull out the original pipe ... if you push that "ring"/olive on the bag with a screwdriver the pipe will be released....then use a tyre inflator and pump up the bag to a visualy normal height and that's all... when you fix the system refit the original pipes... untill then remove R5 to make sure the compressor will not come to life for some reason then it will work in vain untill it dies for good

I sorry I am new to this form chatting .
I towed my caravan other week since then the back end close to the floor so I thought I will use the dash button it chime once with the light flashing with all doors shut nothing happened so first I check all the fuses and relays I could then I look a pipe work air bags for leaks nothing so I removed cover from compresser made sure everything was making contact then I tested the pump power yeah got power to the pump then I took it to a garage for them to look at under sls sensors he removed them and told me the ecu for them wasn't community with them that's all I know really .

Sorry for spelling mistakes andy

have you heard the compressor working? we know you say you have power there, but has it worked? tried to inflate? before you post read what you have written! then if you understand it, we might too! good luck!:)

Is it 4mm OD pipe i need or 6mm OD? I know you said 4mm in the previous post but thought I read somewhere it was 6mm..cheers

here's the title of the ebay link "Air Suspension emergency Air Valves 4mm OD Discovery 2" ... i dunno what to say more..., but if you have doubts get a jaw caliper and measure the original air pipes to the bags cos that's what you need....if you remove the relay when you use these valves you must get the SLS fault warning on dash
