Hoping for some help re my (first) 02 defender. My oil cooler housing has cracked as well as the gasket leaking. Got Housing & gasket of fleabay.
I have a back injury so can't get in the engine at mo. my neighbour (mechanic) started to help but has since disappeared !!
All coolants been drained, pipes disconnected. The turbo now needs to be removed to gain access to the oil cooler. The neighbour has sheared one of the three bolts on the turbo before leaving !
I've tried a couple of mobile mechanics but either too busy or not interested. This is my daily driver and I'm knackered till it gets fixed.
Anyone know of mechanics in/near gravesend that can help ? I'm at a loss. Anyone give advice as to how long it should take & costs I should be looking at ?
