Hi all, I'm new to this forum so please bear with me if I mess things up.
I've just got my landrover 90 (1985 model all standard 2.5 normally aspirated diesel engine) back from the mechanic, its been there for a month.
I took it in to have the steering box seen to and to change two left hand side chassis out riggers and bulkhead rust removed.
When I came to drive away, the exhaust started belching out clouds of parrafin smelling white smoke. And the motor was well down on power. My mechanic told me it would clear soon but it did not and now I've got to take it back in.
Does anyone out there have a clue as to what could be causing this behaviour???
