I am going insane. I have looked EVERYWHERE but cannot find what the h*ck the red flashing LED in the top right-hand corner of the Nav System (BMW) in my 2003 Vogue is. Argh!
I have looked in the manuals including the one specifically for the entertainment/nav system and it labels EVERYTHING (including "display screen" for the imbeciles) EXCEPT the 3 LED's in the top right hand corner next to the tape-player reveal button.
The middle of the 3 LED's starts flashing within 5 seconds of starting the vehicle and doesn't stop until you turn the car off. It wasn't there before, it is a relatively new quirk my already rather quirky (read: problematic) Range Rover has developed.
It is not the usual radio alarm code red LED on other cars that flashes a code when the vehicle is switched off, it is only when the car is running and it is quite distracting/dangerous when driving to have it blinking in my peripheral vision.
I have googled and I have searched the forums on here and not found anything to help me identify what the lights are, let alone explain why one of them has started blinking OR how to stop it.
