help please

does anyone know what an air gap is in the brake system

i take it you have abs?

if its abs it is the gap between the sensor and the tone ring from whet i understand its usualy the sensor either got crap on it giveing faules readings or worn wheel bearings.

i have not had this issue yet but i know others that have, my freind found a little ware in the wheel bearing and and that was the cause.

i dont know of any other issues it causes my self but there are others that have posted on this site do a search on abs

funny you should mention wheel bearings i havent long done the front ones, but you are no where near abs when you do bearings or could it be one of the casings isnt in properly?

if its the front bearings you changed is it one of the front sensor airgaps that is causeing a problem?

abs light stays on and when i brake the abs keeps cutting in and the landy doesnt stop

ok then im lost im afraid i have never had to do anything on these as yet i asked my mate but he did the rear bearings.

if it didnt come on before you did the bearings it gotta be in the seting up of the new bearings, do you have a haynes book of lies go through what you have done and see if you not set it up right?

have you disloged the cv joint and caused the gap to be to big?
