help please

Can anyone help me identify a part of my landrover and where to get it replaced. Have just had it serviced privately and the mechanic noticed that on both sides there is an attachment which runs from the suspension bar up to the main chassis which is plastic and is snapped on both sides. You can see this when through in rear wheel arch. Can anyone help me and tell me what it is etc etc, needless to say I am a female and landrovers much as I like driving them are not my specialist subject. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot

Do you mean the little widgetty bit that attaches the doo-dah to the what-not? Or maybe the thingummy-jig that joins the whats-it-called to the doofer?
