help please

I would like to know would a 2.0mpi gearbox fit onto a 300tdi engine or use the clutch and flywheel from a 200mpi fit a tdi

eurocarparts list totally different part numbers for clutch kits for the mpi & 2/300tdi. So I suspect that the flywheel would be different too.

The mpi gearbox may be an LT77 or an R380 (the former more likely). I think the bellhousings are the same at the gearbox end, but will probably be different at the engine end as the blocks are possibly quite different. 300tdi would normally have the R380 gearbox. Personally I wouldn't fit an LT77 as they tire rather quickly unless they have the S suffix.
