Hi All,
Are there any LPG Engineers out there please??
My Classic 3.9 has two under seal LPG tanks. Runs Lovely on LPG, no power lag but just dies when you come to a stop. We increase the gas using the inline valve in the input pipe from the pump but our gas consumption went through the roof and the smell af gas was too much.
It runs lovely on Petrol.
This is doing my head in now....so I need help please
Neil

Had this one myself. On my mondeo a hose had come loose/nearly off. On my classic range rover a small vacuum hose had become unlodged. A bit of detective work'll sort this- that's my guess.(the guy across the road had something similar- he's a plumber-and looked for a leak with a fag lighter, this may not be the rcommended proceedure}

Have this on mine occasionally, and it only happens when the coolant level in the radiator is low. Its worth a quick check

Hello

It sounds like you may be adjusting the flow/mixture when you may just need to adjust the idle.

It also may be worth checking if the cooling system is properly bled as I had some trouble with this when I first installed the system in my 3.9, it coused the vaporiser to ice as it was not being properly heated.

You could try looking on the LPG forum I have linked below:

I you don't have any joy then send me a mail and I will try to find and mail you a copy of the set up procedure from my system.

Regards
Richard
