I fergot to add also take note of Robke's post 38

If you move the lever over to the left it should go in to "lock" , there should be a orange light burning on your dash.
Don't drive on the normal roads in this position , it will break stuff

yeh, got it, simple!?

LEFT N=Difflock on/NO Gear, Car stays still.
LEFT H=Difflock on/HI Range Gears selected, car moves forward at regular pace with increased traction.
LEFT L=Difflock on/Lo Range gears selected, car creeps fwd with increased traction.
Selecting lever to right N, H or L=NO DIFFLOCK. Pace of car relevent to Gear range.

Yiddness.

...."car'!?!...:(

Gettin how it works is the simple bit actually usin it aint, which is where most people who don't know how Landies work go wrong.

Join a club & get yer self to a play n pay site. Watch, listen and learn from the others i.e take co-pilot seat, then have a go yer self with someone else on board your truck who can point out what yer doin wrong. Then have yer self some fun. :D :D

Yes they'l take the pee but you'll find most Landrover folk to be very friendly helpful folk thats why this forum works so well.

We all helps one another, no one gets left bein stuck orft road unless they're stoopid enough to say/think they're the mutts nuts at orft roadin and never get stuck anywhere, and the same principle applies here ( mostly :D )
