HELP..P38 DHSE gone mad!!

Hi all
Please help, went to start our 2000 dhse today, and all hell broke loose!
all windows ans sunroof opening, petrol flap, and every warning message possible was coming up
horn beeping, headlamps flashing etc etc
What the hell has gone wrong now?
do not know where to start looking, although i am sure that i can hear a clicking, a bit like a relay from under the passenger seat.
Please.....any suggestions would be appreciated

PS: I live in SW France, dealers are not interested...to old

Bad earth's,bcem plugs corroded

Or your bcem under drivers seat is fault and needs repair

+1 to the BeCM.....

Check your footwell carpets for dampness....often times BeCM faults are a result of damp carpets allowing moisture into the BeCM and corroding the pins, getting on to the processor boards etc....

Yours sounds like a classic example of this....

Also check your battery voltage, low volts can cause all sorts of weird things!

Your becm has gone into emergency failure mode.

Where are you in SW France? I'm also in SW France near Poitiers and have diagnostics.
First check is battery voltage and connections, also check if the carpet is wet in the drivers foot well.

Better climate, dramatically lower taxes for the retired, also I needed a project to keep me occupied, I could find nothing affordable in the UK, got a water mill for peanuts to renovate here and not too far to go see the kids.
