Hi all, I'm new here and still trying to grasp how the forums work, I've been reading lots of posts here for a while now but only just joined... I am now the proud owner of my first shed (aka 2000 discovery td5)... I have tons of questions but I'll see if I can find the appropriate threads to ask. Anyways good evening to you all.

Afternoon and welcome.

Make sure you have the EKA code for emergencies
Find a friend that has good working diagnostics.
Download a copy of RAVE workshop manual.

Cheers

I have no idea what you'e just said but I will look into all those things... thanks

Fairplay.....

Look in your owners manual and read about EKA code.........it can save you a lot of hassle if you ever need it.

Diagnostics, because it is a D2 requires a good system that can read the car correctly.

RAVE workshop manual, if you ever plan on working on it is a great resource.

Cheers

Thanks for clarifying. I have not a clue about motors (hence coming here) please assume I am a complete idiot! Lol... dare I say 'female' . Thanks again

Any specific questions you have , post them in the Disco section, make the header Disco 2 and someone will come along and help out.

Enjoy the motor, they are nice.

Cheers
