help needed with ht leads on p38 4.6

OK my p38 blew its head gasket a while ago so I have stripped the heads off had them skimmed and checked. This has taken ages but Its nearly back together now.

I've lost the note pad where I had written down where the HT leads connect, the HT block at the back of the engine does have numbers stamped on it but I don't which cylinder is 1,2,3 etc. I believe this the GEMS engine, any ideas?

Stand in front of the car looking at the engine. The cylinder block to your left has cylinders 2,4,6 & 8. The one closest to you is No. 2.
On the right hand side you have 1,3,5&7 with 1 being the closest one to you.
