de cat on the way, hope its here by the weekend.
went for the straight through middle pipe to, in for a penny !

started putting it back together today, still got the rear interior out from doing the fuel pipes.

got the horns and grill back on after the intercooler clean.

starting to look like a car again and not a wreck somebody dumped outside my house and filled with junk !

at last, it's alive !

goes better, sounds better and hopefully i'll get a fair bit more than the 20mpg I was getting :D

taking it to work today, monitor the fluid levels and use the nanocom for some live data on running temps.

thanks for the help all,

next job, two leaking sun roofs

Jason2, it was rattling and had lots of soot in it

L90 BCM, thank you, I did think of doing that myself i'm a welder by trade.

however, before I had a chance to do either I had an overnight visit from the metal fairies in there mystical magic transit van and low and behold my driveway had been cleared of all things rusty

might get an old one from a breakers and weld it in place, what do you think ?

To be honest i wouldn't go to the trouble, unless it fails the mot because of it.
At which point i would defiantly be doing something along those lines.
Anything that looks like a cat/dpf will do as long as if you do weld it on you put something in the middle, so if they do be arsey and tap it with a hammer it wont sound like an empty tin :)

Only real reason is i love the whistle sound of the turbo of a straight through system :D:D
