SORRY to hear your tale of woe , this is one of my dreads with the td4 ,my mates turbo blew last year on 65k the course of action is to stall the engine asap to save it ,he did that and got it fixed , it still cost a few bob though ! let us know the outcome .Help!!!!!! I have had a disaster today just organised replacement injectors and whilst driving home from work tonight my freelander has died it made a loud clacking sound and then the throttle stuck wide open it then died and produced a lot of smoke now wont start or even turn over need help fast guys as can't be off the road as no work means no pay.
