Hi guys, what a bloody day, OK here goes, after much head scratching and asking questions on here, I finally moved my coil, up to rear of engine mounted on a stainless steel hanging bracket I fabricated. So far so good, mounted the little super condenser on same plate, I then colour coded wires for plus and minus terminals. Again so far so good! Started to extend the wiring back to were it was originally mounted all going great. Then my sister turns up (love seeing her ) but distraction ensued so I put all wiring where it should go and connected it all up! Stand back congratulate myself so turn key she spun over great but didn't start so checked all my wires again nothing.
Found two dodgy conectors that came out the dizzy , great I thought! Narp still turns over but no start. What am I doing wrong? Should I have moved every thing up to bulk head? There was a plate mounted behind coil with some sort of electronic fitment?
I've been out there since 9am and now rain has forced me to stop ( only problem when backyard has no roof or lighting)
Can one please shed some light on what I may of done wrong, would it blow any fuses if so which might it be? I wish I had left well alone now but I needed to move it so I can put second battery in.
I feel a complete numpty
So can any one give me the knowledge I need to sort this out
I drive a discovery 1 es v8 serpentine petrol /lpg if this helps
Many thanks guys
Your help is truly appreciated
Dave
