congratulations on this superb sit, Im a new member and would appreciate any advice , the problem is P38 BMW left standing for 2 week when I tried the remote nothing happened so gained access with key in drivers door, battery totally flat, fitted new battery, when I tried to enter the key code in the drivers door none of the central locking was working, on investigation I discovered the drivers door outstation had some burnt out components, replaced outstation still no central locking except when the battery is disconnected and reconnected the central locking locks but dose not activate when drivers door is opened with key, hence cannot enter key code to start engine, checked all fuses and relays that I can find.
Any help or advice appreciated.
