Help needed near Coniston - Lake District

Anyone around there for the holidays.

Guy (not one of ours) got stuck yesterday in a CAR PARK in the middle of nowhere. Ended up calling out the mountain rescue for himself, Landy is still stuck. Not sure of the legalities but the police are fully aware.

Might be worth giving doc evil a ring..

Oh ya might wanna remove that gridref before the owner turns up to a stripped landy.

Landy Zone International Rescue I reckon zero poster it is upto whoever wants to it to decide.

I know, I asked about that, apparently its a car park, just not the surfaced bit.

Seems the police and mountain rescue were involved last night in picking him up from there. That was confirmed on thread by Mountain Rescue guy.

Rob asking for more info..he can't get onto LZ.

The Doc has just confirmed the car park is half grass and that is where it is stuck apparently. No need to be there but not illegal.

While I agree it probably serves him right, we dont need pics of this sort of stuff all over the internet. So the quicker its out the better.

Do we have a contact number for the stuckee..rob ok to go out but he doesn't want to set out without speaking to him first

If he i still stuck i could go tomerrow (friday)and winch him out ??
