help needed asap

hi guys
got a 200tdi disco unit fitted to my 110
just borrowed my mates ramp to do a quick service n havnt got the right socket for the oil sump drain plug.
what size do i need ?
urgent help rqd he wants the ramp back in an hour

Cant you use an adjustable wrench

yeah, like a REAL mechanic i've got loads.
one of them has even got a scale on the side to read the sizes off.
if only i hadnt left it out in the rain the rust wouldnt have obscured it....


i'd really like to have the proper spanner. i'm the worlds champ at rounding nuts off

the size socket i used on my old discovery 200tdi was 29mm if you can't get one try a 30mm just a bit loose but will do the job for the emergency your in. if you are planning on doing your own servicing etc screwfix.com do a nice 1/2" drive britool socket set for £50 inculdes all the larger socket sizes .

if yu change yo CP to show where yu are, yu mite get an offer of help.

If you have a socket set, you just try all of them until one fits. If none fits, get a different socket set.

use ya pipe grips and a big bar on the end or some stilos lol
