help needed 300 tdi

good morning people some advice needed i recently purchase a 300 tdi defender and i notice its no fan on it
is this a problem ?

slight oil leak on engine but it a little bit that all

It's quite a cool running engine in the uk but if you're somewhere hot a fan is needed. Lots of guys take them off to possibly increase mpg and put an electric fan in I stead should the engine heat up.

As Defender with an oil leak

Mine has got an electric fan on it but I hardly ever use it.
