help needed. 1988 f plate paint colour

Hi can anyone help. im after the paint colour for my f reg 1988 landy. Recently compound and buffed it back to its original blue. Needed to paint over some parts and was convinced after googling images it was stratos blue. Had some mixed up at Motorspares but it is much darker.
Im now thinking its shire blue but online photos vary. Please see pictures. Any help much appreciated.

Most of that time were painted with Land rover Windjammer blue. My 1990 model certainly is. Hope this helps,cheers.

1987 was Stratos, 1988 was Shire. Depends though as yours could have been made in '87 but registered in '88. I've got an '87 in Stratos and the colour looks very similar to yours. Nearly 30 years outside will always have an affect on external colour regardless of how much you polish!

Thanks. To be fair I think it is back to the original colour going by panels inside which haven't suffered uv light. The paint on bulkhead is stratos. a customer of mine had a b reg and it looked similar to mine but I thought how much less faded the paint looked. Maybe it was a darker shade like stratos rather than mine.

Is shire lighter than stratos?

I think shire is darker!? Windjammer was introduced in '90 and was called Arles on the 90/110. Code was the same - lrc424.
