Help,need expertise/advice please

Hi everyone,new to the group with a troublesome disco 2 td5 that has decided it doesnt want to start,was always a great starter but,for some reason the central locking has stopped working and we just have a solid red light on the dash and you can hear a relay click when you try to crank engine,but starter does nothing and red light stays solid.
iv replaced a couple of fuses and tried new battery but to no avail,as far as i know key is transmitting fine (tested by auto locksmith)
any advice or assistance very gratefully received,thank you!

hi,we replaced battery on vehicle and in key and no difference
