Help me with the Battery!

Can anyone tell me what I have to do to get the battery out of a 96 Discovery. I'm broke and want to try to do it myself and can't get the battery out? Is there a bolt underneath?????

try the fitness centre round the corner first.
Then an introduction would be nice.

First post a question doesnt look well, especially as there's a Discovery section, and maybe a manual. Otherwise: :search:
 
Sprinkle with water, leave for 6 months, lift battery out of pile of rust.
Seriously, with the clamp off it should lift out.
 
After disconecting the battery Two bolts hold the battery clamp down you can see this ontop of it when this is Off remove it and the two threaded bars as the hook can sometimes (not offen) fowl the battery then lift out it will be heavy (other wise known as man up wet pants) and that is it job done takes about 5 mins to do.
 
Fook me this has got to be a whaaaa no way could someone have such a drama with a battery
