hi so iv done the unthinkable and lost my keys this is my weekend car iv been trying to fix so don't usually carry these keys with me during the week. Lost both keys btw and the car is locked so they not inside it. Iv looked everywhere even asked around the local shops I have contacted some car locksmiths who have told me they can't do it as Land Rover don't release the codes to reprogram the immobiliser so would need to take it to a dealer. Anyway other way to do this diy? As like I said I have been trying to fix the car so it's not running at the moment and the handbrake is on while I'm locked out which makes transporting it a nightmare. Please help if anyone can

You can get complete second hand lock set kits of EBay. You'll need the all the ECUs, remotes and a key/ lock set.
You than need to open the doors. I'm not sure if striking the impact sensor will pop the locks while the ignition is off. So you'll need to be ingenious to get into it.

Alternatively. Pop down to your local LR main dealer and get a complete set of replacement keys and fobs ordered. This is the more costly option, but the least hassle.

All locks will need to be changed, this includes the ignition lock, boot lock and driver's door lock.
You'll also need the engine ECU, alarm ECU and correct CCU. All the ECUs, locks, keys and fobs must come from the same doner vehicle. This is why ordering a set of key's and fobs is the easiest option by far.
