I need some help identifying the correct swivel kit to buy. I've got a j reg 200tdi, but the owner said it was rebuilt on TD5 axles. I've looked on the left hand (long) side of the axle for a number but cannot find one, it looks to have smooth original paint with no sign of a number.

The swivels have 7 bolts (bi-hex head) holding them on to the axle and appear not to have a drain hole, so I guess are after the move to grease not oil.

The balls are gone and one side has run out of shims so I'm after the full kit, can anyone advise of the correct kit (or how to find out) and any extra parts needed, also any recommendations as to where to buy from and what make? I've trawled a lot of threads and come to no conclusion as to whether britpart kits are OK or not? Cheers

if no drain holes in bottom of swivel housing ,they must be 300tdi on,which will have taper bearing at top and bottom unlike earlier that use bush at top ,its best to buy bits seperate and bearings to be timken ,bottom pin doesnt need to be removed to strip ball down or to change bottom bearing 2=4lbs or 1 -2kg is all the preload needed for double bearing type ,bush needs more
