What engine is it ?

200 tdi and 2.5 N/a have lift pump at that side. where is it in relation to the fuel filter and how many pipes etc.

Re the pics try making it smaller by reducing the pixel size and resaving before upload if not they take ages so load and for them to view in a post.

This is a 200tdi, see the yellow paint? Just below that is where the lift pump with 2 pipes to it would be. Mine is removed and blanked off. Is that the area?

its a 2.5 td i think its the fuel regulator

that is where it is mine is a 2.5 tdi im sure its a fuel regulator. next question is mine is a v reg so its not the engine that should be in that year what year should i quote for this part
It's a fuel lift pump. I think they are all the same from 2.5na to 300tdi.
Held on with 2 bolts? 2 fuel pipes? One from the tank and the other to the fuel filter?

Common problem FPR on the TD5, easy job but a bugger to get at, make sure everything is clean before removing old one, you can buy a repair kit with new seals and tin gaskets but I opted to replace the whole unit, there are two types so make sure you buy the right one, the number of pipes on yours tells you which one you have, (two or three)
I bought mine from my landrover garage at the same price as online ones, talk to them nice and they may give you discount.

Looks like you have a TD5 engine (would be good to post these details) and the part leaking is the fuel pressure regulator - you can get a new one or buy a repair kit.

ok guys have got it of the truck was not to dificult. where is the best place to buy the FPR from seen them on ebay but not sure of decent quality anyone bought one from ebay and was it ok or has anyone bought one cheaper somewhere else rather than main dealer prices.

thanks in advance
