help i am lost

i think my head gasket has gone as i am looseing water and my coolent is a green colour but my oil is clean i am a new land rover owner i have a 300 tdi 90 and i am lost can anyone help me

Any other Problems Overheating excessive smoke (white or grey) lack of power etc etc.

Coolant loss could be a leaky waterpump (P Gasket)

no there isnt any other problems no smoke power is ok and no over heating runs fine on the motorway each morning have recently replaced the water pump and it was the first time i have done one but there is no sign of a leak i am so lost just dont understand

if its the "P" gasket it will most likely leak onto the block behind the water pump housing, have a look between the manifolds an the water pump housing on the block, might show a sign of leakage there, or, run it for a bit then put a few sheets of tissue under it an look for drips.

the green liquid is probably just the coolant/anti freeze in the water.

also, what level is the water at in the tank?
