Help.. how big a job is it to put 2” lifted TD5 90 back to std height ??

You’ll want to get rid of the extended rubber bump stops as well, on standard springs they will be an irritation, reducing what the available articulation is. As others have said, the wire gauge on those springs looks meaty so back on standard it will be less harsh (for a Defender!)

Bearmach Blue are good aftermarket springs, but really nothing wrong with OEM colour coded as per this table -

You can leave the Terrafirma Dampers as they have extended travel designed in to them as “+2”’ so they would never compress far enough in standard setup to bottom out before the bump stop saves you.

Great thanks. The tyres are 265 75 16, what do you reckon ?
Tey are what I run on my 110 and td5 90 which are both standard height so you wont need to change the tyres.

I would echo the above regarding the spring mounts being fitted upside. you might find that the spacer and the spring mount upside down is the two inch lift and I would start by removing these and then see how it feels and it the wife is any happier. That should be a very straight forward job and doesn't require any parts. after you have done that then decide if you need to replace all of the other suspension components. How do you know it has a 2inch lift have you measured or is that just what the seller told you? as the spacer and the mount upside down is possible about 2 inches so it may already have standard springs, or it has additional height form these as well as lifted springs.

I've changed my mind about leaving it how it is after looking at the photo's more clearly.

As others have noted the spring retaining cups are upside down ... FFS .... what I thought were 'red spacers' are the retaining cups.
Unbelievable.
Whoever put that together needs shooting, slowly.
I did think it odd the the rear dislocation cones were inside the bottom of the rear springs but didn't pay any more attention. @Deano1976! you really need to get that sorted asap ....
