Help.. how big a job is it to put 2” lifted TD5 90 back to std height ??

Two inch lift is usually just springs and shocks [ some pic would be handy as there are other ways]
If so it is just change the springs to standard, you can keep the shocks If good, just swap out at rear.
Front more work as shocks inside spring and need to be released to remove the spring.
IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE THIS JOB BEFORE THERE ARE DANGERS FROM COMPRESSED SPRINGS.

Quicker, cheaper and a hell of a lot easier to change the wife!!

Welcome :).

It really would depend how it was done. Got pics of the spring mounts?

Buy the wife some 2” platforms and call it even:oops:.

There are (red) spacers under the bottom spring plates.
Looks like a nice new galvy chassis so i'd imagine that everything will be easy to undo.
Same with the Terrafirma shocks ....

Raise the car up using the chassis so that both wheels on 1 axle are off the ground and it will be relatively straight forward.
If you have anti-roll bars fitted, take the off prior to lifting the car.

If you want new springs there are many available, I wouldn't reccommend the Britpart (yellow) HD springs, these will be much better .... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134142724220

To be honest, i'd leave it as is and get a side step for the passenger side .... part# STC7631

You will get a lot nicer ride with standard springs, those you have look pretty chunky. The dissloction cones on the rear can go as well, just not needed for every day use.

Thank you miktdish ! as the spacers are a minimal increase are these springs also taller than standard springs ? would you recomend that I replace the shocks at the same time ??

much appreciated tottot, if I remove the dislocation cones - do I have to replace them with anything to seat the spring on ?

Britpart standard springs and orange shocks work fine. The spring sits on a disc with a flat metal plate sloted through the spring and bolts to the axle, nothing holds it in at the top.
Front is slightly different.
Do you have oversized wheels/ tyres, might need to change them?

Yes, you have to replace with a seat pan like the ones on the front [ galvanized ones available] and the cross bars that hold the lower spring coil to the pan. Might as well get 4 as front bars rather bent from those chunky springs.
New bolts as well.

WARNING important.
Looking at your pics again I can see the spring pans on your truck have been put on the wrong way up.
This is a safety issue on the front at least as only the bar is keeping the spring on place where as the last spring coil should seat over the pan.
Pic is of my standard front [ lifted when giving it a pressure washing] b

Thanks Anaconda - these are the wheels and tyres, do you think they will fit with std set up ?

Thanks you again - will these top mounts be able to remain or will they need to go also ?

Top turrets look good. At the rear with standard springs there is no need for the cross bar, top of spring is just left free in the housing and retained only by axle spring pan bar
Recon those tires should be fine, are they 235 85 16 ?
