Ok I have all the HDC Inactive/Suspension inactive and brake warning light (All Amber) Having read a few posts I saw that this could be down to a poor battery (which is surprising as I was on holiday for a week and when I came back it started off the button) so checked battery voltage this morning and lo and behold it is at 11.9, so went out and purchased new battery and installed it, no f*&^ing difference, I need the car and can live with the warnings but as the HDC inactive is on the brake lights are on, I read somewhere that there is a wire that can be cut (red/white?) that will stop the HDC from send the message to turn on the brake light, does anyone where this wire is? (Oh and I changed the Light Module as well just ion case it was something to do with that) any help pointers would be appreciated (or if you are near Livingston, Scotland and have diagnostics I can make tea/Coffee and Busicuits or trade a diagnosis for some beer tokens)

+1 to that, battery is no good without a decent alternator and if they are both ok then it's diagnostics time I reckon

How did you find out it was the brake switch, diagnostics, google or good luck?

Hi, thanks for that and would appreciate your help, need to work out how to PM and we can exchange details and I could bring the car around (sorted brake light's by replacing switch but still have the HDC inactive/Abs etc popping up)

Hi, sorry for the late reply, I was actually reading about similar issues on another forum and came across this and at under £10 for a replacement switch I decided it was worth a try, I still get the HDC inactive etc etc, it goes away if I switch off, but will pop up again after anything between 100yds and 30 miles so need to still get it looked at as there is an issue somewhere (still drives fine)

They like to keep you interested, they like to treat you mean to keep you keen besides a RR without faults is just not a RR
Diagnostic kit is the way forward as you know
