Hope you can help me with this one, I have noticed that over the past couple of months that the coolant level in my N plated 300tdi disco is dropping by about an inch or so every so often.
More worrying the oil level seems to be rising and I know last time I did the oil change I left the level exactly on the full mark.
I have had head gaskets go on other cars before and have seen tell tale white emulsion etc on the filler cap but not in this case!!!
Temperature has remained fine too.
Coolant is perfectly clear with no sign of oil contamination too.
I have spoken to Landranger Deeside and to replace the HG is £500, is this the going rate???
Any help or suggestions on this would be appreciated
