Hi I have just got my first discovery and looking forward to a reliable 4x4 that I can have fun with. Hopefully i can use it as my daily run-around, I had a P38 but just didnt get on with all the bugs they have...
It is a 1995 (N) Land Rover Discovery 300 tdi 3 door just replaced the clutch and cam and aux belt. I do have one problem smoke from exhaust when cold and the engine seems to be retarded. But once warm it seems to run fine I had been told that the fuel pump had been out by a few degrees so i hoped the cam belt replacement would fix that.
Just how stupid was I to have bought a 3 door and no sunroof or air con my assumption was this would be a good L
