Ah, a genuine Heinz 57 model - mine was like that, Slim identified 4 separate vehicles last time it was MOT'd ;)

A good place to start identifying the source of components is Legs for main engine/transmission bits About Legs as this is where I isentified most of my drivetrain from. As for the rest, are the rear light units complete or do they split allowing different lenses/bulbs to be inserted? You could try turners or twisted performance to find out engine history if you need to know what vehicle the engine came out of

Take5, the lights etc are all origional 86' defender and un-touched. The back door does'nt seem to be quite right tho as it has a wiper and watery squirty thingy, but there is no switch to operate it anywhere. Bizarre but strangely quirky..

Mad Hat Man is of course welcome to check for mice under my bonnet any time he pleases. Perk of the quick response..

I've got a pet spider in the cab of me 90 - been there for weeks, I call him Boris.

By the way, who did that song? (Boris the Spider)
damn.....every time I have her on the edge of dancing naked on your screen you make some off the wall comment and ruin all my hard work.....I would take here out for beers before the wife got home, but its too far to drive:D

i mite even check ya watery squirty thingy foc:)

beers - yu gotta be joking - yu yanks dont know wot real beer is. I think we had this discussion afore;):p

hell...you had to go and warn her now I will never get her naked......Just make sure you take your medication before you go bonnet checking....don't want anything bad to happen under that bonnet.....it would be such a waste:D
