Just joined up so thought I would introduce myself

I am from sunny cornwall, and own a 1978 Series 3 SWB with a 2298cc petrol engine

I've already got a thick skin (I've got a land rover )

Will be a while before I can take it greenlaning or off road I am afraid
Got to sort a few bits out and actually learn to drive

Will get some pics soon hopefully...

What I can tell you is its green with a white hard top on it
Its got a drop down tailgate with a lift up tailgate top (that sounds confusing )
Its got what I believe to be a military bumper (like a standard bumper with little bumperettes under the headlights

Front light guards (rear will go on soon)

It will have hopefully an A bar at the front with 2 spotlights, 2 reversing and 2 foglights at the rear.

Its on just under 54000 miles and had a recon gearbox at the beginning of the year (no receipt to back it up, but it does feel really tight compared to others I have looked at)

And the engine is 2298cc not 2286cc :S
Not that I think 12cc will make a difference

Oh, almost forgot, it has got Mayflower freewheeling hubs on it (the ones you need a spanner to engage/disengage...
