Hi all,
Just bought an ex mod 110 FFR Tithonus. I previously had a 90 300tdi and made the mistake of selling it a few years ago, totally regret it, but I have another landrover on the driveway now. My lads love it and so do I. Test driving it the other night and lost the use of the wipers and the fuel gauge. It's got the old glass fuses so had a tinker with them and hey presto wipers and fuel gauge back and working . Next job is a paint job, NATO green silk finish. Hoping to get this done in the next week or so.
Happy days ( and landy frustrating) ones ahead .
Cheers

Welcome. Nice intro. Happy motoring and tinkerkng :D
Thanks gold rover. Got a few bits to sort with the Tithonus, nothing major just paint work etc for now. Thinking of replacing glass fuses box but may keep it original, not made my mind up yet :)
Will post pics of the projects as they arrive as planned and also being a landrover also those projects I hadn't expected to undertake lol.
Cheers

Welcome aboard:)
Landy looks nice, and looks like you know what you have let yourself in for:D
Thanks, yup eyes wide open on this venture. My previous landy was my 1st and what a learning curve it was. Owned it for 10 years and put blood ( literally, freeing off bolts that would only give when 110% effort was applied only to give unexpectedly and causing me to shave off the chunks of skin on my knuckles) sweat and tears ( mostly due to the pain from caused from the blood part) into it lol. Here I am again with another iconic vehicle sitting on the drive and a smile on my face!
Cheers
Neil
