Hi Guys,

I love Land Rovers, I started with a new 110 commercial when I had a tree business many years ago, it was a great, functional vehicle! Sadly that went when I sold the business and after a break for some years we got a TD5 90 on a 54 plate which the kids named Sandy Landy - as the first place that we took it when we got it was to some sand dunes where we lived. That was eventually replaced as the family grew with a new 110 CSW which was again named by the kids as one of it's first tasks (as I was a volunteer marine mammal medic at the time) was to tow a dolphin which had had to be put down, so, could not be left to get in the food chain; off a rocky beach, so it was called Rocky Rover. Things changed and two vehicles were needed, so the Defender was exchanged for a Discovery and an Audi.

Later, when things changed again we leased another 110, replacing it on the lease once due to an accident. We never really had any problems with any of them, I remember doing repair on the TD5 with a wiring loom and instructions from the web. Then circumstances changed significantly and I had a Corsa for 6 months and have now, as I am going back into tree work just bought another Landy.

It feels like I am whole again :), however, completely out of my depth as I am not overly mechanical and this is a much older vehicle than I have been spoilt to have in the past... I do not have funds to spend on it, so need to be learning and looking after it myself - hence coming to you guys for support ;).

I love the Defender for its ruggedness and versatility and for the comradery that exists between the owners - I still found myself waving to other owners in my little Corsa :-0

So, that's my introduction - Hello :)
