I'm John proud owner of a 110 utility 2011 and 110 1989 county TDI
I'm of to Norway next spring for a few months gradually finding ourselves in Portugal at the end of 2017 .
We are kitting out our utility for the trip (camping ) 2 questions we need help with ,if anyone would be so kind.
Dose anyone have experience of the Foxwing awnings good or bad. ?
Also we are hoping to convert to refillable gas bottles for cooking anyone have experience they can share.
Thank you
John

Welcome to lz, John! :)

`89 110! Ansum.

No idea about the awning, sorry, closest I get to caravanning is a few nights in my cattle box.

What exactly do you mean about the bottles? Normal butane or propane bottles are refillable?

Hi and welcome aboard - sounds like two decent vehicles - any pics ??? (!)

Yep, not sure what you mean here - do you mean convert the cooker from using the disposable bottles to using larger refillable ones ?? - if so, changing the cooker would be the cheapest, and probably the safest way - and put your refillable bottle in a side locker - if you have one or can make one ???

I have seen a system on line where you can refill your gas bottles at the garage LPG point ,save taking to many refills .I just wondered if anyone had any experience of these. And the awning we just wonderd if they are big enough ,cant find a supplier with one on demo .Thanks for getting back will post some pictures soon ,im new at this
