Just signed up so here goes, just recently purchased my 1st Land Rover admired them for years! It's a series 2 Discovery 2000 model pre facelift the interior has been swapped to leather seats electric and grey and 7 seats only the rear quarter panels where the storage boxes used to be hasn't been changed and is beige so the rear two seats don't latch as there isn't anything there that's a project for another time. At present I'm attempting to fit spotlights to the front bumper, however have run into a dilemma. The a frame is supposed to be bolted to the bumper either side of number plate and mounting points for lights face the grille but, there is very little space to get the grille off once bar and lights fitted and having removed bumper to fit bar in the first place, so for example if I wanted to say replace the horn I can't get grill off!! and likewise I get the bumper off with removing the grille, so I'm screwed. Or have I missed something? I'm sure someone will put me right. Won't they? Many thanks in advance.
