Hi All,

Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself and Daisy the Discovery!

I've lurked here for a while after catching the Land Rover bug following an off road experience day in an absolutely ruined Defender 110. I had a few more sessions at the off road course, and finally I've bit the bullet and bought a Discovery 2 which I'm picking up on Saturday... although it's already been named by the family.

Still a little bit of a novice, but hoping to learn as I go along.

Thanks for the welcome.

Picked up the Disco today - not bad for 176k with plenty of little jobs for me to do.

First thing will be a full service and fluids change, including the diffs, transfer box an gearbox oils. The car has never been off road and I put it into low range today for the first time in about ten years, and once back in high range there was an odd whine which eventually improved - hoping a fluids change might help!

Also uncovered this mod... perhaps a little shim would be better!
