Hello,

can I just jump straight in with a question?

I'm looking around for my first Land Rover and I've been offered a 15 year old 110 High Capacity Pickup (200TDi I think) with 192000 miles on the clock for reasonable money. It's been used mostly on the road for carting stuff around a big estate for pretty much all its life.

Am I entering a world of never-ending garage bills buying something with so many miles on the clock, or are Land Rovers good for those sort of miles?

Could anybody suggest what things might need looking at or replacing considering the mileage? I appreciate, it's hard to say without seeing the vehicle (and it's a sort of a "how long is a piece of string" question, anyway), but any thoughts or opinions from wiser heads would be much appreciated.

Thanks for any help you can give,

All the best,

Hello.

Answer to Q1. Could we stop ya ? :D
Answer to Q2. Your buying an old vehicle so yes.
Answer to Q3. Depends on how well it's been looked after.
Answer to Q4. A search on here for "things to look for when buying" will help ;)

:welcome2:

Hello again,

OK, thanks for that - so nothing specific to look for beyond the usual checks for a Land Rover, then? That's good to know :)
