Hello

Hi, my name is Jason from Norwich.
I have just bought a 94 Discovery TDi.
Havnt quite picked it up yet, went to pick it up yesterday late afternoon. Got it hitched up to a tow vehicle. Put the lights on and cleaned the windscreen with washers and wipers and the lights went out and the hazzard lights stopped working!
So after a bit of roadside faultfinding, still nothing. So i left it there and arranged to pick it up at a later date.
Any ideas to help a newbie?

Get the seller to fix it?

I'd look at fuses, earth points/straps, and the state of the battery and connections. I'd also re-look at the whole thing ..

If summat's fecking up before you've even moved it then it might point to greater nasties hidden within. Might not too though but could be a good bargaining point for something off the sale price ...
