Hello to everyone and trying to trace HRC826

Hello to everyone, been lurking for a while and decided to take the plunge. Not bought landy yet but I'm not far off, have been looking for ages. Dont suppose any of you good people know the whereabouts of a Series 1 in white with the plate HRC 826 do you?? it belonged to my gf's late father and she desperately wants to find it if only to see it - her dad died when she was three and she only has pictures of the landy and her as a baby. She says at least he first car was a landy though so thats a good thing.

Thanks for that Oil Dripper, have just found the same link on the DVLA website and found that it exists, amazing after all these years. Has anyone got any knowledge of HRC 826 - like location or sightings?? Know its a long shot but think of the brownie points I will gain if i track it down for her!

Thanks to everyone for suggestions - the search continues...

Quick update, got reply from DVLA after sending off 5er and filling in the form with reasons to release info for HRC 826 and DVLA have refused as reasons dont fit their criteria!! Gutted, my have to pay 30squid to join series 1 club now:doh:. Anyone see's hrc 826, white (well it was white in the 70s!) Cheers ladies and erm gentlemen.
