Well I've forgotten any latin I learned at school, but it's *possibly* a literal translation for I came, I saw, I broke-down - a wee play on the I came, I saw, I conquered.

Now you just know someone with a degree in Latin is gonna come along and point out it's totally wrong!
 
They must have had Landy Chariots to get the word 'defringo' which is Latin 'to break down'. What did the Romans ever do for us? must have conquered Solihull

The romans gave us roads!!! Without them, everyone would be driving Landys.

PS The Romans did give us sewers - without which I'd imagine cleaning the landy's tyres after a run would be even worse! :eek:
