good afternoon everyone

just purchased a diesel freelander 1998, noticed water coming from little hole on water pump, is this the pump gone or the "o" ring seals???

thanks

Hi , The haynes manual says that pump failure is usualy indicated by coolant leaking from the gland behind the pump bearing , says that if this symton is evident then the pump must be renewed . Good luck with it

Hi Virginhippo!
Don't take any notice of this lot, it fills their days in the nuthouse!

I've had 5 Land Rovers and 4 of them were/are Freelanders and i've been really happy with them, even though they have cost me some money, as do ALL Land Rovers!

Good luck in fixing your problem, and remember your car tax will be less than theirs! :p
