I’ve got a p38 that’s fires initially then turns over for some seconds before starting fully when cold any ideas please ?

What engine?
What fuel type?
What year?
What have you done to it in any type of attempt to remedy the problem thus far?
How long have you had it?
Has it always been like this?
When did it first exhibit said symptoms?
If you can shed some light on my questions then perhaps I will be better placed to help with yours
