Hello, Im planning on buying a freelander, probably a 1.8 Petrol, as soon as I sell my current car. At some point I want to buy a boat and need a 4x4 to tow it home and also lauching it at my local harbour about ten times a season. Other than that it would just get around town use, hence going for the 1.8, not a the V6 or diesel.
Does anyone have an advice or a list of things to look out for when viewing a possible purchase? Ive had cars with Rover K series engines before, so im aware of keeping an eye on the coolant, and HGF but having not had a 4x4 or a freelander before, what else should I be looking out for?
Also if anyone wants to swap their freelander for a Mitsubishi FTO then pm me asap!
