Hear hear. I believe the new defender is more economical than previous models, it also has a 6 speed box, better heater and a tad more comfortable.
Cheers! Does a lot more to the gallon than her 4 litre petrol Jeep does.

Indeed it does!
Have to say i do know that there are many more economical choices but when your annual mileage is down at 8-10k, i for one am not worrying too much about it.
Sorry its an argument i can't be bothered with, until world start to tackle the real issues, me not buying a Land Rover is'nt going to save the planet.

If you don't buy it someone else will, anyway potentially this car could last you anywhere from 10 to 20 years plus, I'd like to see that polo do the same.
