Hi all, bin a reader for months and now joined up.
I have recently bought my third disco to date, a 1998 300 Tdi.
My last disco was a series 2 1999 es premium, which had every bell and whistle you could fit on it, I had the original bill of sale and it cost 42k new.
When we went to buy it, we looked over every inch of it and it still turned out to be a total box of bo**cks.
Within two months I had sold it on to a lovely man in a garage who had screwed me also the year before, when buying my wifes car.
This 300tdi we bought off Ebay without going to see it AND I even had it delivered from Devon (was cheaper to have delivered than collecting) and up to now has proved a gem i've had it longer than the series 2 already.
Goes to show what I know about Landies.
I am a self employed engraver, and like to do a bit of fishing and shooting and dont mind getiing the car a bit dirty.....
I have also had a 1994 200TDI Disco and a RR 3,9 V8 auto
I hope to enter in the banter that I enjoy to read on here and for now say thanks for your time, Steve
